"The Tressle"

"The Tressle" bridge used to carry the old railroad that traversed the area. Now the tressle is home to some of the areas best fishing. Served as a hot spot for fisherman, and a trail for walkers and bikers, the tressle is a classic structure of the Okobojis. We spent days jumping off of the tressle doing cannonballs, preachers, flips and the like. I know in my life my friends and I have caught literally tens of thousands of crappie and blue gill off the tressle bridge.

Walleye Weekend

East Lake Okoboji

Its almost here!!! Walleye Weekend marks the beginning of another great summer here in the Okoboji Area. Anglers from all over come to try and catch the prize fish. Our local DNR tag and release specific Walleyes while they are gillnetting in the Spring. Whether you are fishing from shore or by boat, you cannot go wrong. It is a great time to get the season started and check out the local restaurants. Maybe you will catch the big one. charlie@leadcitydemo.com While growing up, Charlie loved coming to the lake with his family fishing and going to Arnolds Park on the boat for some Godfathers Pizza and ice cream. After graduating from Washington High School in Cherokee, Iowa, he went to Southwest Minnesota State University graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration. Charlie has become familiar with the area while working and eventually becoming a manager at The Gardens and living in Arnolds Park. He now looks forward to helping people achieve their goals in this wonderful area. Ben Zenor, a local tile installer established The Okoboji Tile Store in 2012. Ben has been doing tile work for years. He is experienced with new construction, remodel and has done work on custom showers, backsplashes and floors.

The Okoboji Tile Shop also sells tiles, as well as cabinets, countertops and bamboo wood flooring.

I am a 2003 graduate of the University of Iowa with a degree in finance. Before starting at RE/MAX, I worked at a local bank in several different areas of banking, this experience has become helpful to my real estate clients.

In 2006 I joined RE/MAX, essentially joining the family business with my parents and sister who taught me the business. I am the only remaining Lippon team member actively selling real estate. In 2014 I obtained my brokers license and I am licensed in Iowa and Minnesota. I received Hall of Fame status from RE/MAX for my production over the years.
